The Irish College Leuven was founded 400 years ago by the Irish Franciscan Order as a centre of education and learning. It quickly became one of the most important locations where Ireland’s relationship with Europe was fostered and developed. It was here, at Irish College Leuven, that many important Irish manuscripts and texts were written, where many scholars were educated, and a place where networking and relationships flourished.

Irish College Leuven continues to provide a destination where history is written. The beautiful site has been masterfully renovated and is a modern residential conference venue. A capacity with bedroom accommodation for up to 130 guests, a mix of eight conference rooms, full on-site catering services, a 10.000 sq metre garden, and the jewel of the former chapel which has been masterfully converted into a state-of-the-art auditorium for up to 220 guests.
