- Founded in 1425, 13 campuses in 10 cities across Flanders, 15 faculties, 60.292 students, 22.310 staff members, +250.000 alumni.
- 48 bachelor’s programmes (48 taught in Dutch, 5 in English).
- 138 master’s programmes (123 taught in Dutch, 72 in English, 1 in French).
- 42 advanced master’s programmes (19 taught in Dutch, 23 in English and 1 in Spanish).

RESEARCH & IMPACT
- 7.988 researchers, 650,5 million euros in research expenditure in 2022, 6.386 PhD, students, 834 doctoral degrees in the 2021-2022 academic year, 395 (48%) of these were awarded to non-Belgian researchers.
- 151 spin-offs created over the past 5 decades.
- In 2022, 144 patents were granted and a license-income of 150 million euro was obtained by KU Leuven.
