Why the EU Falls Festival 2022 chose Leuven as its host city

The EU Falls Festival brings together leading academics, researchers, health care practitioners, clinicians, industry representatives and key stakeholders from across the globe to celebrate best practice research and innovation in the multidisciplinary study and implementation of falls prevention in older people. The overall theme of the 2022 conference was “Falls prevention: Getting things done in practice”.

The program was a combination of international keynotes, workshops and poster and oral presentation of young researchers. And of course, when in Leuven, there was also time for a beer.

Our delegates enjoyed a perfect organization of the conference, both in terms of content and practicality. But most of all they enjoyed the hospitality and openness of the people of Leuven.
