Leuven welcomes a new Flanders Heritage Venue: Keizersberg

The Flanders Heritage Venues network, initiated by Toerisme Vlaanderen, brings together exceptional meeting locations that combine heritage, quality infrastructure and impactful visitor experiences.
These venues play a key role in positioning Flanders internationally as a destination where conferences become memorable experiences, blending history, innovation and hospitality.

With its recent inclusion, Keizersberg strengthens Leuven’s already impressive representation in the network.

Perched on a green hill overlooking the city, Keizersberg Abbey offers a peaceful and inspiring setting for events.
The historic abbey combines heritage architecture with modern meeting facilities and can host gatherings ranging from small meetings to conferences for up to 400 participants.

Beyond being a remarkable venue, Keizersberg is also developing a vibrant community on site, bringing together students, freelancers, artists, entrepreneurs and social initiatives: creating a place where people meet, collaborate and generate new ideas.

Keizersberg joins four other Leuven venues that are already part of the Flanders Heritage Venues network:

  • De Hoorn
A beautifully restored former Stella Artois brewery and one of Leuven’s most iconic industrial heritage sites, now hosting conferences and creative events.
  • Faculty Club
Located in the historic Grand Beguinage, a UNESCO-listed site that offers an elegant and academic atmosphere for meetings.
  • Irish College Leuven
A former 17th-century college transformed into a refined conference venue with a strong historical character.
  • Park Abbey
A remarkable Norbertine abbey site surrounded by nature, offering a truly authentic heritage experience for conferences and cultural gatherings.

Together, these venues demonstrate what makes Leuven unique: a compact city where centuries of heritage meet world-class knowledge, innovation and hospitality.
